Funeral services were held for Morris Lurie, donor of gifts to a number of Jewish institutions who succumbed at the age of 75 at his summer home in Rockaway Park, L. I.
Mr. Lurie, who was the owner and founder of ### chain of department ### in upper New York, established a scholarship fund at the Jewish Theological Seminary, and also contributed to the building fund of the Isaac Elchanan Yeshiva College. He was identified with the United Synagogue of America and was a senior member of Congregation Kehillath Jeshurun.
