Funeral services were held yesterday morning for Dr. I. B. Fish, medical superintendent of the Deborah Sanitorium for Consumptives, who died suddenly at the age of sixty-five of a heart attack.
Interment took place in the Workmen’s Circle Cemetery.
At the annual meeting of the board of directors, Morris M. Gottlieb, prominent Allentown, Pa., resident, was elected president of the Jewish Community Center of Allentown.
Charles Kline was elected chairman of the board of directors. Other officers elected were as follows: Henry Friedman, vice-president; H. Rockmaker, financial secretary; Sol Hoffman, treasurer; J. Rosenberg, recording secretary. The following were elected to the board of directors for three years: Edward Coleman, Frank Heintz, Louis Goldsmith, Louis Subin and George Lerner.
Milton M. Unger, prominent Newark lawyer, who recently was appointed to the Board of Education of Newark, was honored at a testimonial dinner given by the Jewish Anti-Tuberculosis League, of which he is one of the most active members. Mayor Congleton was among those to pay him tribute and among others were rabbis and laymen conspicuous in the civic and educational endeavor of Newark.
