Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon for Sidney Handler, assistant counsel in the Seabury investigation of city affairs, who died at the age of twenty-eight of nephritis, after a six months illness.
Rabbi Burstein conducted the services which were held at the Riverside Memorial Chapel. Interment took place at the Elmont Maimonedes cemetery.
Until his illness, Mr. Handler was aide to Judge Seabury and had previously represented the Bar Association in some of his investigations of Magistrates courts in connection with ambulance chasing. He was a native of New York City.
