Funeral services for Ernest H. Schwarz, 50, for twenty-five years with August Schwartz, Inc., were held today in the Rosehill cemetery chapel. Mr. Schwarz died Sunday after a long illness. His widow, Mrs. Pauline H. Schwarz, and two daughters, Pauline and Helen, survive. Mr. Schwarz was associated with the firm which his grandfather founded in 1856. He succeeded his father, G. J Schwarz.

Funeral services for Dr. Abraham A. Bass, optometrist, were held yesterday at Jewish Waldheim cemetery Dr. Bass, 56 died Sunday in his home. He practiced here for twenty-five years. His widow Dora, and two sons, Oliver and Shari, and a daughter, Rosalie, survive.
