Funeral services will be held this morning for Velvel Schwartz, prominently identified with the Poale Zion Party, who died suddenly of a heart attack yesterday morning in his forty-fifth year.
Mr. Schwartz succumbed in the home of his friend, S. Boncheck, Poale Zion leader. He was a native of Russia and came to this country in 1907. Mr. Schwartz was active in the Cutter’s Local No. 10 and in the Jewish National Workers’ Alliance. He had served with the Jewish Legion in Palestine. The Jewish National Workers’ Alliance is arranging the funeral.
