A ten-year-old Western Galilee collective, H’hai Tzahal, was re-named Moshav Leeman yesterday in honor of visiting former Senator Harbert H. Lehman.
The Hebrew version of the former Senator’s name was taken from the Talmud where it means “harbor” or “anchorage.” The settlement is situated less than a mile from the ocean.
Mr. and Mrs. Lehman were guests of honor at the settlement and later visited Acre and Nahriya.
