The force of arms has decided the Palestine icons, Gen. Charles De Gaulle, former president of the French Provisional Government, declared today at a press conference in which he referred to a number of other worldwide events.
The issues of the Negev, from which the United Nations has ordered the Israel forces to withdraw, will also be solved militarily, the General declared. The “Voice of Arms,” he added, would win Israel all its demands, including possession of Jerusalem. In the case of Jerusalem, however, some sort of international control should be established to safeguard the rights of Christendom, he continued.
