Rabbi samuel Rose, 89-year-old father of Maj. Gen. Rose, said today that his son’s death was further evidence of “the Jewish people’s love of liberty and freedom for all people.”
The venerable rabbi, grief-stricken at the news of his son’s death, said that “it is woll that since this had to be, it happened in the week of Passover.”
