Lt. General James H. Doolittle has been awarded the Gold Medal of Merit of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States of America, it was announced today by Harry T. Madison, the organization’s National Commander. The veterans group will present its award to Gen. Goolittle at a dinner in the Waldorf-Astoria on January 13, 1954.
