A rare honor was conferred upon the Jewish General Giulio Modena who has been awarded the Maurizio Lazzaro military decoration, an award rarely bestowed and then almost exclusively given to Catholics.
General Modena is the president of the highest Military Tribunal and has published a number of books on military problems.
