The executive of the World Confederation of General Zionists, meeting at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel here, today authorized its presidium to take the necessary steps for the preparation of a worldwide conference of General Zionists to be convened in cooperation with all organizations and groups favoring unification of the General Zionist movement on a world-wide basis.
Noting that the Zionists Revisionists–Herut are the only party not represented in the Jewish Agency, the executive of the World Confederation, of which Dr. Emanuel Neumann is the head, went on record in favor of their inclusion. A resolution to this effect will be presented by representatives of the World Confederation at the next meeting of the Zionist Actions Committee in Jerusalem.
Another resolution calls upon the governing bodies of the World Zionist Organization to urge the Israel Government to introduce the necessary changes designed to improve aliyah absorption from western countries.
