The terms on which the General Zionist Party, second largest in the Israeli Parliament, would be prepared to enter into a new government coalition were submitted today to Premier David Ben Gurion by Dr. Peretz Bernstein and Mayor Israel Rokach, leaders of the centrist party.
The conditions reportedly include such demands as a single unified school system for Israel, replacing the present four systems, and the transfer to government hands of the labor employment exchanges now operated by the Histadrut, the Israeli labor federation. These demands will be considered by Premier Ben Gurion’s Mapai Party at the next meeting of Mapai leaders tomorrow.
