Negotiations with the General Zionist Party for its joining an expanded coalition Cabinet have been broken off, it was announced here today by Dr. Fritz Bernstein, leader of the party. Dr. Bernstein said he told Premier David Ben Gurion that the General Zionists would enter the Cabinet only if given adequate assurances that their representatives will have sufficient influence there.
