The General Zionist Party, after two days of deliberations, decided to second the nomination of Mr. Ben Zvi. The Herut has decided to send a delegation to visit Mr. Ben Zvi and offer its support on condition that the law governing the presidency be changed to require that upon nomination every presidential candidate renounce his party affiliation. Mr. Ben Zvi is a member of the Mapai Party.
