The national conference of the General Zionist Party of France concluded here last night after voting to reject any split within the party in countries outside of Israel, although such a division was recognized as existing in Israel because of conditions there.
The conference also adopted a resolution expressing the hope of the delegates that Dr. Abba Hillel Silver and Dr. Emanuel Neumann will return to the helm of the General Zionist movement. Another resolution requested more attention on the part of Israel to the question of immigration and the establishment of middle-class settlements. Marcel Bernfeld was reelected president of the organization.
