The novel event took place here at Tifereth Israel Community Synagogue when 200 members of the Young Women’s Christian Association of Iowa State College visited the house of worship. They heard Rabbi David Graubart make an impassioned plea for tolerance and better understanding. He condemned religious and racial imperialism.
