Several hundred people attended a joint mass memorial meeting here here at the Ahavath Achim Synagogue in honor of the memory of the Chofetz Chaim, and Rabbi Moses Mordecai Epstein, of Palestine, an uncle of Rabbi Harry H. Epstein of the local synagogue. In addition to Rabbi Epstein, other speakers on the program included Rabbi Tobias A. Geffen, of the Shearith Israel Synagogue, and A. M. Karpel.
