Abraham Mordechai Alter, the Gerer Rebbe, has arrived here from Warsaw en route to Palestine, where he will take up permanent residence. Rabbi Alter was recently reported seriously ill in Warsaw. He was accompanied here by 15 adherents and the Polish Agudath Israel leader Isaac Meir Lewin.
