A spokesman for a major West German aircraft manufacturing firm reported today that a large number of West German scientists and engineers, working in Egypt on weapons, aircraft and missiles, had sought recently to return to West Germany.
Hans Pasche, manager of the United Aeronautical Works in Bremen, made that statement but decline to give any figure on the number of such experts wishing to return home. Meanwhile, the Junkers Aircraft and Machine Works in Munich announced it had already hired a number of West German missile experts who did not want to extend their contracts with the Nasser regime.
