The German colonists in Palestine are gradually being restored to the economic position they held at the outbreak of the war, it is reported. Although many have abandoned agriculture and vine-culture because it pays less, the Gernans find dairying profitable and are doing a great deal to develop it. These colonists for the main part are members or descendants of members of the Templars who hab settled in and around Haifa some forty years ago.
