The Bavarian State Council for Freedom and Justice has filed a formal protest with the Ministry of Justice against the action of a German court at Traunstein in designating a leading Nazi “racial specialist” as an official court expert in a disputed paternity case involving a Jew who was formerly a DP.
The Jew denies being the father of the child, for whom is is asked to pay support. The court commissioned an “expert opinion on the basis of biological heredity” from Dr. Albert Harrasser, although the latter lives at a considerable distance from Traunstein. Harrasser, a Nazi Party member since 1931, served on the staff of the Nazi “Bureau for Racial Policy” and on the supreme staff of the brownshirted Storm Troops.
