The first meeting of the European Senate of the American Guild for German Cultural Freedom will be held early in March, according to information received here today from Thomas Mann, German Nobel Prize winner, and newly elected president of the Senate. At this meeting, the Senate will recommend deserving German writers, research scholars, and artists, who are now in exile, for awards by the Guild to enable them to continue their work.
