Prof. Franz Boehm, head of the German team of negotiators at The Hague reparations negotiations with Israel, arrived here this week-end as a guest of the Israel corporation which handles reparations. He was met at the airfield by representatives of the Foreign Ministry.

Prof. Boehm, who expressed his gratification at being able to visit this country is travelling under an assumed name and his destinations. It is known the he already visited with several Ministers here and will return later during his three-week stay to confer with other members of the Cabinet. He is staying with a private family and plans to visit a kibbutz.

Right-wing Revisionists have made threats against Prof. Boehm and the Communist press has denounced him. The leftists assert that he is a “neo-Nazi emissary who is aiding the intrigue to establish Israel-German diplomatic relations.”
