The Jewish Restitution Successor Organization and the Council for the Protection of the Rights and Interests of Jews from Germany announced here today the conclusion of an agreement under which the Council will resume membership in the JRSO and will receive a portion of the funds distributed by the JRSO from heirless and communal assets recovered from Germany.
Earlier this year, after a series of unsatisfactory exchanges, the Council withdrew from participation in the activities of the JRSO charging that the JRSO had not given due weight to its requests for allocations.
