Dr. Adolf Theilhaber, the famous Munich gynecologist, celebrated his seventy-fifth birthday there. On this day, which coincided with his completion of fifty years medical practice, a volume was published by his many admirers, containing tributes from prominent medical men in Germany and abroad. In recent years he has been mainly engaged in cancer research work.
Dr. Theilhaber has his own institute and his own clinic in Munich. He has repeatedly refused high academic honors offered to him on condition that he would become baptized. He was the founder of the Daniel League, which seeks a renewal of Judaism on ethical-vegetarian lines, and propagates the return to nature, agriculture, gardening, sports, etc. He is a prominent pacifist and a leading champion of democracy.
