At a meeting of the Federation for Jewish Land Settlement in Germany, Franz Oppenheimer reported that the Federation has bought a stretch of land in Grossgablow near Cottbus, and that the Berlin Kehillah has contributed one-hundred thousand marks to begin the settlement on the land of former German-Jewish soldiers who fought in the war.
This, declared Oppenheimer, is the beginning of a far-reaching plan for Jewish land settlement which aims to establish a large number of Jews upon German soil. He declared that the Federation expects the German government to support the plan.
