The Central Jewish Committee and the Federation of Jewish Communities last night honored Harry Greenstein, adviser on Jewish Affairs to the American military government in Germany, at a “farewell party.”
Mr. Greenstein is leaving Germany for Paris on October 15 and from there he will fly with a U.J.A. delegation to Israel. He told the guests at the party that he would return to Germany briefly after his Israel trip and would leave for the United States at the end of October, and that he intends to resume his communal work in Baltimore when he returns home.
