A warning to the Jews of Germany not to seek to qualify themselves as agricultural workers, a course in accordance with the plans of Jewish relief organizations, was sounded today by the Munich Landpost, organ of the Nazi peasants.

The newspaper warns the Jews that it would be better for them to give up the idea of settling on German land and work out their destiny by leaving Germany altogether.

“German soil belongs to Germans only,” the paper editorializes. “The Jewish intention to acquire German land can only be viewed as a provocation.”

Training of young German Jews in agricultural pursuits, now debarred from the professions and from a majority of urban pursuits by the functioning of Aryan clauses and anti-Jewish discriminations, has assumed an important position in the plans of organizations seeking to open up fields of endeavor for young Jews who, under other circumstances, would have gone into other work.
