German judges who served in the Nazi courts must resign before next Saturday or else face dismissal without pension rights. The order to resign follows a law passed in the West German Bundestag a year ago. No precise figures of how many judges are involved have been officially released and estimates vary from 70 to 150. Few of them have shown willingness to resign so far.
