The agreement concluded with the Soviet Government by the American Society for Jewish Farm Settlements in Russia, Inc., a subsidiary of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, for the extension of Jewish colonization work in Soviet Russia, was praised today by the “Koelnische Zeitung.”
The agreement is a model document, the paper says, adding that it is of cardinal importance. The paper suggests that the German organizations interested in aiding. Germans in Russia to settle on the land follow its example.
