Report that the German Government believed that bomb attempts made against Chancellor Konrad Adenauer and Professor Franz Boehm, head of the German reparations mission at The Hague, several months ago were the work of a Jewish terrorist organization were denied here by the Federal Criminal Investigation Department. A government spokesman said no such information had ever been issued by the department and added that there was no reason for commenting on this “highly political affair.”
Some government circles are of the opinion that reports alleging that Jews were behind the attempted assassinations were inspired by extreme right-wing members of the Bundestag who were and still remain opposed to any agreements between Israel and Germany.
