A German businessman and local politician was sentenced to two months in prison today for making anti-Semitic remarks in public. Complainants in the case were a local Jewish resident and the Jewish community of Wuerttemberg.
The defendant was Julius Germerdonk, a painting contractor and candidate for the town council on the BHE Party ticket. O April 18, the day Dr. Albert Einstein died, Germerdonk was sitting in a tavern when the radio announced the death of the scientist. In a loud voice, meant to be heard by everyone in the tavern, Germerdonk said: “If all the Jews kick off tomorrow, if they kick off like worms, then I’ll come here and really celebrate.”
