Dr. Otto Schweinsberger, one of the chief prosecutors at Frankfurt, was officially retired today, after being under suspension since December on charges arising out of war-time Nazi atrocities against Jews.
Last winter, charges were made that Dr. Schweinsberger had refused to prosecute a German soldier accused of shooting 75 Jews in the Soviet Union. Proof of the charge against the soldier had been obtained from East Germany.
