Notwithstanding the differences prevailing among German Jews with regard to the extension of the Jewish Agency of Palestine, a promise of unity was seen in the announcement made by the German Rabbis Association, comprising all shades of religious opinion.
The Association delegated three representative to the special committee which is to meet on June 26 to designate Germany’s representatives to the Agency Council. The delegates appointed are Dr. Leo Baeck, president of the Association, Rabbi Dienemann of Offenbach, general secretary and Rabbi Horovitz of Fankfurt am Main.
