The Hanoverr office of prosecution revealed today that it was conducting 14 investigations against persons charged with war crimes. Most of the probes involve the murders of Jews in Poland, especially in Lemberg and Lodz. Two of the accused persons have been arrested.
The prosecution in Koblenz announced that the trial will be opened at the end of April against Hans Remmers, 54, a worker; and Karl Zenner, 54, a merchant, who were accused as former SS leaders of complicity in the murders of 6,624 Jews in Minsk.
