Germany granted permission for a former World War II concentration camp commander to travel through its territory, clearing the way for him to be extradited to Croatia. It is not known when Dinko Sakic, the commander of the Jasenovac concentration camp who was discovered in April living in Argentina, will arrive in the Balkan country. Meanwhile, Argentina turned down Yugoslavia’s extradition request for Sakic because it is “based on the same events for which he will be tried in Croatia.”
