Girls affiliated with the Agudat Israel of America have announced a campaign to try to influence other Jewish girls to follow the Orthodox way of life. The plan was voted at the closing session of the national convention of Bnos Agudat Israel attended by 200 delegates. The girls said they would try to reach others in “grassroots” areas where “the message of Torah Judaism has still not reached out to them.” They plan to organize teams to visit communities all over the country and to invite girls from non-Orthodox homes to spend week ends with families in New York neighborhoods with a heavy concentration of Orthodox Jews.
