Benjamin Glassberg, Executive director of the Federated Jewish Charities of Milwaukee for the last five years and prominently identified with Jewish social work in this country has been named Superintendent of the Department of Outdoor Relief of Milwaukee Country.
Mr. Glassberg has tendered his resignation to the Federated Jewish Charities with whom he has been affiliated since January 1, 1927.
He will assume the duties of his new post on September 1st. The Department of Outdoor Relief is now providing full relief for approximately 30,000 families. Three hundred and fifty workers are employed on the staff of the department whose expenditures this year will approximate $7,000,000.
