The gross national product in the administered territories where one million people live has risen by more than 15 percent for the second consecutive year, the Bank of Israel disclosed yesterday. One-third of the increase derived from earnings by Arabs working in Israel where the wage scale is higher than in the administered areas. Most of the improvement is concentrated in the Judaea-Samaria regions (West Bank) which has a population of 621,000. Output there rose by 18-20 percent according to the Bank of Israel report as a consequence of mechanization in agriculture and industry, improved work methods and a more intensive utilization of the labor force. In the Gaza Strip, with a population of 377,000, the GNP rose by 10-13 percent.
