“Transplantation of all Jews to some still-unoccupied territory and foundation of a Jewish State as far as possible from us” is the Rumanian Government’s suggested solution of the Jewish question, premier Octavian Goga was quoted here today.
Interviewed in Bucharest yesterday by a correspondent of the D.N.B. (official German News Agency), the anti-Semitic and pro-German Rumanian leader characterized this as “the sole definitive solution” of the Jewish problem.
It was also learned here that at the request of the German minority in Rumania, the Goga Government has raised the ban on various Nazi books which had been in effect under the Tatarescu Government.
