Mrs. Golda Meir, Israel’s Foreign Minister, began talks with Italian officials today in her quest for support for a trade pact with the six nations of the European Common Market.
She met first with Emilio Colombo, Italian Treasurer and former Minister for External Trade who handles certain phases of Italy’s Euromart participation. Later Mrs. Meir called on Premier Aldo Moro. During her cordial talks with the Italian leaders, Mrs. Meir described industrial and agricultural development in Israel.
