An American tourist who asked to remain anonymous bid IL 47,000 (more than $10,000) last night for Premier Golda Meir’s famous black handbag which was auctioned off for the benefit of the Israel Cancer Society. The bag was the one Mrs. Meir carried during her meeting with President Nixon in Washington March 1. The woman said she intended to make a present of the bag to a woman friend: It is generally believed, however, that she plans to return it to Mrs.Meir.
