Dr. B. Z. Goldberg formally opened a course on Yiddish culture at the School of the Jewish Woman, 251 West 100th street, when he delivered a lecture on “What Is Jewish Culture?” last evening.
Dr. Goldberg said that the Yiddish movement is not a language movement, but a culture movement. “Yiddish culture is a continuation of historical Jewish life. It is a link in the social chain and not a sideline,” Dr. Goldberg stated.
