The British section of the Allied Control Commission for Germany today announced a cut in food rations for displaced persons in the British zone.
The announcement declared that displaced persons, however, would continue to receive larger rations than the Germans. A twelve percent reduction in the amount of bread, flour, and potatoes supplied to the camps will be put into effect shortly. The military government said that the measure was taken “reluctantly.”
