Good will between Jews and Gentiles will be cemented here in the next fortnight by a number of joint Jewish-Christian “better understanding” events.
Friday night at Temple Emanuel B’ne Jeshurun, Masons throughout the city will be guests of the congregation at a special service. Dr. Joseph L. Baron will give a sermon on “Judaism and Masonry.” Non-Jewish Masons will attend.
On April 30, the local unit of the Conference of Jews and Christians will sponsor an address in the lecture hall of the public museum by Prof. A. R. Radcliffe Brown, University of Chicago anthropologist, on “Races of Men.”
