The Ivriah People’s Bank of Berlin has opened a goods department, the objects of which are to initiate and act as agents in trade indemnity business between Germany and other countries, particularly Palestine, Rumania, Hungary, Yugoslavia and Bulgaria, and to provide an information service concerning currency decisions in respect to foreign trade and the markets situation.
The department will regularly issue information concerning new ordinances and market reports affecting raw materials and manufactured articles. It further undertakes all banking business connected with export and import trade and control over the sale of goods commissioned to it.
