Governor-elect Lehman will make his first appearance, since his election as Governor of New York State before a Jewish audience, at the Chanukah Dinner of the Jewish Education Association, which takes place next Sunday night at the Bitmore Hotel, New York.
Colonel Lehman, it is understood, will address the guests, and his message is expected to be of interest to all sections of the population, irrespective of creed or race.
In connection with Colonel Lehman’s acceptance of the invitation of the Jewish Education Association, Israel Unterberg, President of the Association, pointed out that Colonel Lehman has been interested in the work of the Association since its beginning, eleven years ago.
