Seventeen graduates from the Jewish Teachers Seminary here today received their diplomas and degrees at their graduation ceremony at which Dr. Abram L. Sachar, president of Brandeis University, delivered the principal address. Other speakers were I. J. Schwartz and Jacob Glatstein, noted Yiddish poets.

Seven graduates who have completed the four-year program instituted in 1960 were the recipients of degrees of Bachelor of Jewish Literature. Ten secretarial certificates were awarded to students who have completed the special course for Yiddish-Hebrew secretaries; the only course of its kind in the United States.
