A protest against the Dead Sea concession granted to the Jewish engineer Moses Novomej-sky and Major Tulloch, has been sent to the British Colonial Office by the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem. In his cable, he insisted that Palestinians must be consulted before the concession is granted. The Grand Mufti especially protested against granting the concession to the Jews “whose hidden aims against the Moslem majority in Palestine are now established so clearly and completely.”
