A large number of Jewish scholars over the age of sixty will receive grants from the Society for Aged Jews in honor of the fiftieth birthday of Professor Einstein, who has been a warm supporter of the Society.
The Berlin Jewish Community, the High School of Jewish Learning, the Adath Israel Congregation, the Grand Lodge for Germany of the Independent Order B’nai B’rith and the Federation of Russian Jews in Germany, have been asked to supply the Society with a list of scholars entitled to the grant. Professor Einstein, who has been notified of the plan, expressed his satisfaction with it.
